There’s a whole new way to explore Beyond today! A new series is beginning, with a very familiar (meddlesome) character . . .

Sakura the match-making witch has been a staple in Belville since Cry Big Bad Wolf, Alchemical Tales book four, when she came to town to help her big brother Ryuko face some serious accusations. She then settled into the storefront next to Red’s potions shop, opening her own cafe–and proceeding to set up several local couples, providing the inspiration for Pomegranate Cafe Romance!

Most recently, Saki arranged Red’s girls-only trip to Helenia in Labyrinth of Crime, Alchemical Tales book nine. (Nine!!) Naturally, during that trip, the girls managed to get drawn into a local mystery . . . and eventually, solve it.

Well, in this new book, Saki is returning to the scene of the crime–and she’s hoping to escape some guilt of her own. But nothing goes to plan. (Does it ever?)

Sakura finally gets her own chance at love in this cozy romantasy, the start to a brand new series in Beyond. And while this does mean that Pomegranate Cafe Romance is finished (for now!), Saki still has some very fun ideas up her sleeve. Read on for the official book link and description!

Love and Ghosts at Hideaway Lake

What you can’t see can hurt you. But it can also help you . . .

SAKURA:

Have you ever made a terrible mistake . . . and then run away? That was me arriving in Helenia. All I was supposed to do was take over a magical resort in the woods and hide until the whole thing blew over. But the one man I can’t resist showed up on day one, and oh yeah, the woods are haunted. Which means I may actually need his help. Did I mention he’s a god of the dead?

PLUTO:

I am accustomed to living on the edges of society, obscured by the many myths associated with my name. Most never see me at all. A certain shadow witch saw straight through me the moment we met. It’s not surprising that she now owns one of the most ancient sites on the island–it’s inevitable. But even if it brings up an unpleasant past, what’s more inevitable is my attraction to her . . .

In a place where fears catch up with you and dreams just might come true, Saki and Pluto set out to reinvent Hideaway Lake as a cozy haven–but in the process, they may need to reinvent their own lives, too.
