Like last week’s post about the #12DaysofTurvy–a writing challenge going on right now over on Instagram!–this week is a holiday PSA. The Cozy Mystery Book Club is hosting a festive extravaganza this week and next!

The event, called The 12 Days of Cozies, is all over the internet: Twitter reading sprints and Q&As, Instagram photo challenges, and a website full of downloadable goodies. I myself will be on Twitter on Monday the 12th from 8-9pm EST for an author chat, and tomorrow I’ll be going live on Instagram, too! But the real magic of 12 Days of Cozies is in email. Every day, Cozy Mystery Book Club founder Angela is sending out an email newsletter full of giveaways and other fun. You can check it out here!

I don’t know about you, but I find that celebrations like this are taking over my social media feeds right now. And why shouldn’t they? I think it’s pretty neat that there are so many ways to enjoy the season–both online and offline. Filling our lives with light is important at this dark time of year, after all. (All that writing about Yule lately is having an effect on me, I think!)

Now, please excuse me while I go figure out how to do an Instagram Live . . . 😉
