We’ve already seen the shop floor of the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum, as well as the plant storage. And seeing as today is a holiday (or holiday-adjacent!) and I’m excited to get back to some cozy reading, this post will be a roundup of other cool features of the apothecary’s workshop!

Most of the tools you see here were for use in mixing and selling medicine–everything from grinding up ingredients to forming and cutting up pills to affixing labels onto bottles. Oh, and speaking of bottles . . .

Yes, they have those too! (I was particularly amused by these, because glass bottles play a small role in the story I’m working on right now.)

To end on a colorful note–the pictures above include some shots of a long rainbow-like display. What’s medicinal about that? Well, nothing exactly, but this apothecary could also mix up paint! After all, the process uses similar tools and methods. 😉 Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
